Closing the project

When everything is set and done, you are ready to close the project. You can at any time revisit the project after it is closed.

If you have still not created the final report, look at the section on reports. Simply apply your company’s final report template to generate a complete final report in just one second.

Checklist before closing and archiving a project:

  • Make sure all work orders are either completed, cancelled or moved to later projects.

  • All owner supply costs are added on the project.

  • You have reached a final settlement with the shipyard, and the final yard costs have been imported to the budgeting and cost page.

  • Optional: Update “Timeline - actual” on the page General project info.

  • Generate and share a final report.

To close a specific project, first make sure you are inside the specific project. Then, from the left-side navigation menu, select Settings. Three sub pages will appear, select “Ownership” and then “Archive this project”.

You will still be able to revisit a project after it is archived.
